Health Guidelines

THE FOLLOWING ARE GUIDELINES FOR THE VIBRANT HEALTH THAT CHARACTERIZES THE GLAD LIFESTYLE - BASIC FOUR FOOD CHART BASED ON THE ENERGETIC PROPERTIES OF FOOD.

  1. BIOGENIC FOODS - These are the most life-generating, high-energy foods that aid in revitalization and healing.  this group includes all sprouts:  soaked and sprouted nuts and seeds, sprouted grasses such as wheat and barley, sprouted grains for cereal, sprouted beans and all other sprouts such as alfalfa, brocoli, radish, red clover, cabbage, etc.

  2. BIOACTIVE FOODS - These are foods which are capable of sustaining and slightly enhancing an already healthy life force.  Bioactive foods include fresh, organic, unprocessed

  3. BIOSTATIC FOODS - These are foods that are neither life-sustaining nor life-generating.  They diminish the quality of body functioning.  They are life-slowing foods that slowly increase the process of aging.  These are our cooked foods and foods which, although raw, are no longer fresh.

  4. BIOACIDIC FOODS - These are life destroying foods.  these are foods which have gone through much processing and refinement and are full of additives and preservatives.  They rapidly breakdown life function.  This group includes animal products, sugar, white flour products, etc.
